I want to write a whole long entry but I can't find all the words to say what I want.
Guess I could start. Two of my friends are having a rough time in their relationship. Well, one of them doesn't have one anymore. Both are fairly depressed and are hating men. It sucks and I really do feel bad for them, I just can't get myself into that same funk. My relationship is great. The most we argue about is who gets to play on the wii.
Moving on. Christmas was pretty good after I got juiced a bit and spent time with his family. We got towels and enough money to get a wii and a game for it. We already had some games from when we were living with his parents. The day after Christmas was the most entertaining. We went to get the wii and when I got home I got an email asking if I wanted to be the entertainment coordinator for PTE. I also get to be a mod. I get paid in tubes. 30 of them each week. (Holy crap!)
So yeah I'm doing that. As well as being the president of the Student Senate. And being a choir officer. I'm going to be so super busy it isn't funny.
I have my sleep study next Wednesday. I'm so thrilled.
I saw my final grades for the fall semester. My psych grade dipped down to an 89 so I got a B in that class. All the others I got an A. My psych grade would have been better but I ended up blowing off a full test when I was sick and never made it up.
My life is good these days. Yeah, nothing is perfect, but it's not bad. I have friends, both online and in person that care for me. I don't have to try to please someone. I don't have to worry about saying the wrong thing or being caught in a crappy mood and having someone take it the wrong way. The people that care about me know how I am and accept me. I think that is what matters the most.
I can't say my apartment is perfect. We have one chair to sit on in front of the tv. We have a table that is warped, we have a tv that is on it's deathbed, and we have a bed that is technically a mattress and boxspring on the floor. I don't care though. I have people who love me, a nice warm place to sleep, and food to eat. Granted it's a lot of chicken because it was on sale. I also have a Christmas tree, some leftover candy canes, and a beach in a bottle. I'm happy.
FYI. The bed is a new disaster. The side rail split completely and we haven't been bothered to fix it.
I dunno what all of this is. Just mind barf I guess. Feel free to ignore.

Great start to the day.
I'm drinking and it isn't even noon yet.
*sigh*
Sean's mother calls to tell us that we need to be there by 11:30. We were originally told 1pm. It's 10 am. I haven't made my mac and cheese yet, the presents aren't wrapped, and I'm not even close to being dressed.
I'm rushing to get the mac and cheese made. I'm boiling macaroni, throwing together a cheese sauce, and frying up bacon to cut up and stick in the sauce. I go to pour the cheese sauce into the pan with the macaroni and I didn't move my hand in time. I burned my hand by scalding hot cheese. Best part? When I rushed to the sink to rinse it off and cool my hand down, I turned the hot water on instead of the cold one. Woo!
It was decided that we will get to his parents when we get there. I have done my nails, enjoyed my rum and Dr. Pepper, and will get dressed when I damn well feel like it.

Made it home last night. We would have been back a lot earlier but crap happened.
I had a fantastic trip. Got a little drunk at Cocoa Beach, went walking in the park, spent way too much money on nail polish.
You know the drill. XD

Seriously though. I've been getting tons of cards, it's nice. I won't get to see anymore of them until the 22nd though. I put a hold on my mail while I'm out of town.
They are all so pretty and are lining up on my entertainment center nicely. :D

So a little insight as to how my birthday went today at school.
"When do finals start again?" "Tomorrow. I remember saying that I couldn't go drinking for my birthday because of finals." "When is your birthday?" "Today...."
Then the entire Choir sang to me.
Then we went caroling through the campus. Stopped off at the commons, the auto/diesel department, and a few other places. We got told to stop singing in the science building. Jerks.
After that us workstudies crammed into the office for a chat with a friend of mine. Her fiancee of 11 years decided to leave her a couple of weeks ago. She broke her foot and just had surgery last month. And has 2 little girls that are expecting Christmas.
Worst part is that she walked in on him and another woman.
Today I went through some of my old stuff, gave her a few shirts for her oldest and grabbed the stuffed animal I got for Valentines day last year. Gave them to her so she can give her daughters some sort of Christmas. Later I'm going to go through my old clothes and see if I have anything she can fit. I want her to have something, since she has nothing. And even though her doctor said she can't go back to work until February at the earliest, she isn't going to listen. She plans on going back this weekend. While I don't like the thought of it, I don't blame her.
I think I may go through my polish collection and give her a few for the girls. We all need something.

So after a massive nap yesterday, I'm feeling a lot better. The twitch is still there, but it's not huge and hardly noticeable.
Anyway, we got our tree up. It was Sean's first time putting together a fake tree so I sat back for a few minutes while he cussed up a storm. It has blue and silver ornaments and a silver star on top. White lights that are set to twinkle. Nothing too fancy.
Yesterday we also went shopping a bit. We went Friday afternoon as well. (before the ER visit)
He got me my birthday presents. I ended up getting 3 Zoya polishes, a giant nail kit box that includes a nail dryer, and a singing stuffed hippo.
The Zoya polishes aren't here yet because he let me pick out the colors. The nail kit is one of those ones you can only get around Christmas. I'm not a fan of the polishes because they are obviously not 3 free, but the electric buffer and dryer are cool. The hippo sings "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas." It also dances. Cutest thing ever and I think it's my favorite out of the gifts.
We also picked up some jeans for me, not because they were part of my gift, but because I needed them. JC Pennys had a nice sale when we decided to go (we didn't know about it) so I got my 42 dollar jeans for 18. Also grabbed a nice pair of black jeans for 11 dollars. He got himself a jacket. And yes, I do pay 42 dollars for jeans sometimes. They fit me the best and are comfy. Most of the time I grab them when they are on sale. We went out to lunch as well. We can't do much celebrating on my birthday because I have finals starting the next day. So that I'm well rested and ready for my finals, it was decided we'd do all the stuff over the weekend.
We can't do it next weekend because we will be in Florida. :D
We get on the plane Friday afternoon. It was decided that it was cheaper to fly out of Minneapolis. We have a 3 hour drive to get there. It saves us 500 dollars though. The tickets were 500 each if we flew out of Hibbing or Duluth. They were only 250 each out of Minneapolis. And we have no layover. We'd have one from the other places. I'm beyond excited.
So yeah. Long entry about nothing really. Sorry about that. xD

I spent my Friday in the best possible way!
In the ER -.-
For the past few days I've had this tic. I didn't think much of it. Last night it got really bad and it was causing my throat to close up so I could hardly breathe.
So I spent 6 hours in the hospital. The tic came from my new meds. Along with a slew of other things.
I got to sit there with an IV in while they hoped it would stop. It didn't stop completely, but it's a hell of a lot better. Not as bad.
And the nurses kept calling me a bunny. :(
Such is life.

I guess I owe people a bit of a "story" as to why I went MIA (sorta) and haven't been doing the journal thing.
Firstly, school has taken over. Well not the work and the classes. But the social life that has come along with it randomly. Outside of the one girl whom I had an issue with, I've made some great friends. Most of the members of the choir have been fantastic. There is just this one guy who never really shows up. It's nice to be invited to parties or out for some coffee. It's something I have missed since moving.
Outside of the school thing, Sean and I moved into our apartment. We have a nice set up going. It's nice to be by ourselves and have no one to tell us what to do or when to do it.
In all of this, I had to have major med changes. And a sleep study set up/ The sleep study is because when I was at the doctors she asked me why I drank so much caffeine. When I told her that even after a full 9 hours of sleep, I was still dead tired all day and would even take a nap, she got concerned. Until I get the whole thing dealt with, I'm on a new medication to keep me awake during the day. I also was taken off one of my meds. I have to see the doctor every other week to make sure the new meds aren't messing with my others.
On the good side, I've been tagging a lot. Also have been going crazy with nail polish. My nails are fairly long at this point. Well except my pointer fingers. One got eaten by the cupboard and the other got snagged on the door of the car. So both of those are cut back.
I've learned how to mix my own nail polish into frankens. I've taken to using Photoshop for tagging.
Let's see. I also cut my hair again. Not super short, but still short enough where I don't need a hair tie. I also bought a pair of 5 inch pumps. But those are for my concert. *shrug*
I don't know really how to put all the things I've been doing into words. But I'm doing great!
I also have a new outlook on life and how things work online.
